In 2016, Cadbury and Fairtrade announced a ground-breaking commitment to help more cocoa farmers, their families and their communities, by extending the farmer-focused, industry leading Cocoa Life program to Cadbury products around the world. This includes a range of Cadbury Dairy Milk products globally, including all Cadbury products in the UK and Ireland, which started in May 2017

The new partnership between Cocoa Life and Fairtrade, will build on the relationship started between Cadbury and Fairtrade in 2009 and will incorporate Fairtrade as a full Cocoa Life partner, working together on new innovative programs to enhance the future for farming communities. Furthermore, for the first time ever, all Cadbury products in the UK and Ireland will be covered by a single sustainable sourcing program - Cocoa Life.
